In Canicattini Bagni, less than 5 km from the historic centre, an extraordinary farmhouse dating from the mid-19th century is offered for sale, requiring complete renovation. The property retains the authentic charm of large Sicilian country estates and offers significant potential for restoration and enhancement.
The building is laid out entirely on a single level and has a total floor area of approximately 1,700 square metres. The farmhouse’s rooms are arranged around a characteristic central courtyard, in keeping with the traditional layout of the Sicilian ‘baglio’.
The substantial floor area allows for a range of design solutions, from the creation of a prestigious private residence to the development of a resort, a boutique hotel or a hospitality venue, subject to obtaining the necessary planning permission.
